In reclaimed wet pasture, in SW quadrant of a group of barrows (LI040-048001-/006), an enclosure (LI040-047002-) lies 135m to the W. Not marked on OSi historic maps. Possible ring-barrow listed by Grogan (1989, 250) as 'Tankardstown 4'. Possible monument visible on aerial photograph (BGE 1/5000, 2549) taken 11/09/1982 on the Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline. No surface remains visible on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12. Possible cropmark visible on Google Earth orthoimages.
