In reclaimed pasture 65m W of the townland boundary with Adamstown. One of 13 possible barrows (LI040-070001/013-) recorded within an area measuring 200m N-S x 250m E-W. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified by the Discovery Programme as a potential barrow on examination of Bord Gáis Éireann aerial photograph (BGE 2557; Site No. 8) taken 03/11/1984. No surface remains visible on Google Earth orthoimages where the area is shown as a rush-covered area with paleochannel visible.
