What is recorded here

Barrow is a stepped burial mound in County Cavan whose distinct stages still rise above improved pasture, although much of its form has been levelled. It sits near Carn Lough and a court tomb, with two close northern entrances and a shallow ditch marking its arc. The builders shaped the natural hillock rather than forcing it flat, creating a place so at home in the landscape that aerial photography was needed before its full shape emerged.

Not marked on any OS ed. Largely levelled. Remains comprise a low earthen mound(diam. 1.55m; H 0.2m) enclosed by a low earthen bank (Wth 1.35m) with internal fosse (Wth 1.35m).
