In undulating pasture, with extensive view to S and E. Recorded by Bowman (1934, 435) as 'levelled. Surrounding fence c. 2ft high, diam. of same 34 feet. Diam. of base of mound 22ft 8in. A depression is in the centre of site of mound'. Levelled 1980s; outer bank visible as low rise; field fence truncates N side, second ring-barrow (11849) c. 230m to SE.
