In improved pasture 75m W of townland boundary with Garrydoolis. One of eight possible barrows (LI033-115001/008-) concentrated in a large field (125m N-S; 175m E-W) in the W of the townland. Not depicted on historic OSi maps. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 122.04; AP 7/2028) as a ring-barrow. Faint traces of cropmark visible on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12. Visible as a circular-shaped area (diam. c. 8m) enclosed by a bank on Google Earth orthoimage dated 18/11/2018. A ring-barrow, likely dating to the Early Bronze Age, associated with a group of possible barrows in a prominent field; such clusters suggest ritual or funerary significance in a prehistoric landscape.
