Circular area (diam. 18.5m) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.5m). Interior inaccessible due to overgrowth. According to Hartnett (1939, 240), wet fosse inside bank 'encircles a low central platform'. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
