One of 'four tumuli or mounds' (CO087-092---; CO087-093---; CO075-044--- ) referred to by Coleman (1894, 35) on the Great Island - 'below Newtown where the kennel stands'. Exact location not known. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 2: East and South Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1994).
