On the broad WNW-ESE Carnfree ridge. Subcircular low grass-covered rise (dims 9m E-W; 8m N-S; H 0.2-0.3m). Bowl barrow (RO028-063001-) is 50m to the WNW, mound barrow (RO028-063005-) is c. 70m to the N and ring-barrow (RO028-064001-) is c. 200m to the E. Mound barrow, likely dating to the Early Bronze Age (c. 2000–1500 BC). It is part of a broader funerary landscape on the Carnfree ridge, indicating regional burial practices and social organisation during the Bronze Age.
