What is recorded here

Situated at the crest of a lower shelf on the W side of Tara in an area cut by many E-W paths. Described (Newman 1977, 120) as a circular mound (diam. c. 6.5m), it has no visible profile and has never been geophysically surveyed. Mound barrow, likely dating to the Early Bronze Age. Its location near the Hill of Tara suggests a possible ceremonial or funerary significance within a broader prehistoric landscape.
