What is recorded here

Situated at the crest of a lower shelf on the W side of Tara in an area cut by many E-W paths. Described (Newman 1977, 120) as a circular mound (diam. c. 6m), it has no visible profile and has never been geophysically surveyed. Mound barrow, likely dating to the Early Bronze Age. It is part of the wider Tara landscape, historically significant as a ceremonial and burial centre in ancient Ireland.
