In pasture, immediately W of a stream with Knockaunatarriff 210m to SW. Earthwork (LI041-013016-) and ditch-barrow (LI041-013015-) lie 45m to the SE and 40m to the NE respectively. Not marked on historic OSi maps. Possible ring-barrow listed by Grogan (1989, 246). Monument is visible as a circular cropmark (diam. c, 3m) on Digital Globe orthophoto taken between 2011-13 and Google Earth orthoimage dated 18/11/2018. See attached Google Earth orthoimages. Ditch barrow, likely dating to the Early Bronze Age (c. 2000–1500 BCE), associated with burial and ritual practices of the period. Its location and earthwork features suggest a ceremonial landscape linked to other nearby monuments.
