On level ground immediately E of the linear earthwork, 'The Black Pig's Dyke' (KD023-037----). Two other possible barrows lie nearby; c. 20 to the WNW (KD023-080----) and c. 18m to the SW (KD023-081----). Visible on an aerial photograph (DoD 1999). A small, low, sub circular mound (diams. 3.7m NE-SW; 3.35m NW-SE; H 0.5m) with a flat top (diams. 2.2m NE-SW; 1.9m NW-SE) is girdled by a narrow fosse (Wth 1.7m; D 0.4m). Ditch barrow, likely dating to the Early Bronze Age. Its location near the Black Pig's Dyke suggests ritual or territorial significance in a landscape marked by prehistoric monuments.
