On a broad low E-W ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 14.5m N-S 14.5m E-W) defined by a shallow fosse (Wth of top 4-6m; int. D 0.1-0.2m; ext. D 0.1-0.3m). Barrow (RO027-054----) is c. 150m to the WNW. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
Ditch barrow, likely dating to the Early Bronze Age. Its construction reflects early funerary and ritual practices associated with burial mounds in the Irish landscape.
