In reclaimed pasture, one of a group of eight barrows (LI040-061004/009-), ring-barrow (LI040-061012-) lies 17m to the S. Not marked on OSi historic maps. Small circular cropmark (Site No. 040087) identified during examination of aerial photographs (BGE 1/50000 2553) taken 03/11/1984 on the Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline. Faint trace of monument visible as circular cropmark on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12. Possible monument visible as small circular cropmark (diam. c. 3m) on Google Earth orthoimage dated 19/03/2015.

Ditch barrow, likely dating to the Early Bronze Age. Its association with a group of barrows and a ring-barrow suggests a significant ritual or funerary landscape.
