Barrow is a nine-metre circular ditch in wet County Limerick pasture, joined thirty and one hundred metres away by two smaller ditch-barrows. The trio sits beside a road and watercourses, small enough to escape historic mapping yet clear enough in aerial photographs to mark an old ceremonial or burial landscape. People may have walked past them for centuries, seeing only grass and rain, while the earth kept its shape beneath the pasture.

In improved, wet pasture, cut by land drains and watercourses, 200m NW of a public road which also marks a townland boundary with Castlefarm. Ditch-barrows (LI032-272001-/03-)lie 33m and 105m to NW, respectively. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Monument identified by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 231.02: AP 5/2017) as a small circular-shaped earthwork. Upstanding monument is clearly visible as a circular-shaped earthwork (diam. 9m) defined by a fosse, as seen on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-2012, on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimage 25/03/2017.
