Barnacle Rock is a small islet located in the Na h-Eileanan Siar archipelago, an area with a rich Gaelic heritage and historical ties to Norse and early Christian settlements. While no permanent population is recorded, such rocky islets were often used for seasonal grazing or as landmarks in traditional seafaring routes.
