Ballymagan Rocky Enclosure

Internal Dimensions 32m N-S, 62m E-W. An area of rock outcrop dropping sheer c. 3m on its N side but enclosed by a collapsed stone wall on the W, S and E. All the way around the wall, are oval and circular areas of clearing, noticed at other similar sites throughout the county and presumably dating to recent times. Situated in boggy mountain terrain.
