Five-arch limestone road bridge, built c. 1800, over River Funshion. Coursed rubble masonry walls with vertically-set coping stones to parapets. Round arches having dressed stone voussoirs. Low V-cutwaters to north elevation. Smaller overflow arch to west.
Ballyfean Bridge serves as a reminder of the quality of the engineering and local craftsmen's skills at the turn of the nineteenth century.
