Ballycorick Castle was built in the 16th century by the Blake family, an influential Anglo-Irish clan in County Clare. It is remembered as an example of a defensive tower house reflecting the turbulent political and social landscape of Gaelic Ireland during the Tudor period.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
