What is recorded here

Meltwater scoured the rocky shore of Carlingford Lough during the LATE-MED period, exposing a narrow strip where humans may have placed stones to control artillery fire or defend a landing place. The water still presses against that ancient line, turning a military feature into a living boundary between land and sea.
