Diméin Bhaile Ghib preserves an Everard armorial plaque moved from Randalstown castle around 1970. It stands in the porch of St Patrick’s Church at Donaghpatrick, showing a shield with two stars above one star across a wave, a closed helmet, a pelican, and the motto VIRTVS IN ACTIONE CONSISTIT. Below that, Mathias Everard de Randelstown is named for 1708. The stone has left one house and entered a church, carrying a family’s claim about virtue into a place where ordinary people still pass it on the way to prayer.

Set upright inside the entrance porch to St Patrick’s Church of Ireland church at Donaghpatrick (ME017-034006-) on the S wall and to the E (left) of the doorway into the church. This stone was moved here from the site of Randalstown castle (ME025-069----) c. 1970 (Everard 2000, 171). A limestone armorial stone (Wth 0.59m; H 0.83m; T 8cm) has a heater-shaped shield with the Everard arms – two stars above and one below a wave – surmounted by a helmet facing left with the visor closed and a pelican above. Beneath the crest are two panels, the upper has the Everard motto in Roman capitals: VIRTVS IN ACTIONE CONSISTIT (Virtue consists of actions).
