From O’Mahony, A. (1987, 20, No. 15) In the sedilia niche in the south wall of the Chancel is a stone (Wth 0.66m; H 0.73m; T 0.13m) which shows a shield with initials at the top: P on the left and E L on the right. Beneath the initials are the coats of arms of both families.
