Two angels still support the Barnwall shield inside Mosney House, having traveled from St Peter's church when the camp appeared in 1949. The plaque dates from the 16th century and shares its wall with a toothed cross belonging to another forgotten family. It is easy to imagine men passing that chamber, reading ancient pride on a house built for a different purpose.

Two decorated stones from St Peter's church (ME028-017----) were incorporated into Mosney House when the camp was developed in 1949 (Ward 1965, 255). One is a decorated spandrel (ME028-012003-) and the other (ME028-012002-) is an armorial stone representing Barnwall and another family represented by a toothed cross.
