That is the story of the Virgin and Angel panel. It is not a new carving for a modern church. It is a fragment rescued from the old Dominican friary in Tralee. The panel was not discarded. It was set into a rockery in the church garden. The friary fell, but one image refused to vanish. It reappeared where prayer still gathers.
