A carved dragon watches from a rockery beside the modern Dominican church in Tralee, rescued or reused from the medieval friary that once occupied the same ground. The creature has no visible wound, no flying creature, no holy figure, only its own curved body and pointed teeth. It may have marked a gate, a well, a warning or a joke, but that meaning is gone. The dragon remains visible because people kept building around it instead of burying it.

This record is for the 'dragon panel' which is built into a rockery in the garden of the modern Dominican church in Tralee. It is presumably from the medieval Dominican friary (KE029-236001-).
