Four cloister pillars from the medieval Dominican friary now stand buried in a rockery beside the modern church. They are not lost, only redecorated by time and stone. The Dominicans walked past them for centuries, perhaps unaware they were touching their own forgotten building.

This record is for a cloister pillar (one of 4) which is built into a rockery in the garden of the modern Dominican church in Tralee. It has rounded edge shafts with small vertical fillets.
