In the OPW store, Kilkenny (Kilkenny depot stone carving number: KD033). A limestone end piece of a scroll pediment (L 0.575; max. Wth 0.2m; D 0.26m), from a doorcase, with ogee and ovolo mouldings. The scroll is decorated with a rosette, only the outer petals of which are open, carved in relief. The upper surface is polished. Stylistically it dates from the late 17th/early 18th century.
