In the OPW store, Kilkenny (Kilkenny depot stone carving number: KD018). A sandstone circular column base (diam. 0.46m; H 0.1m) with rounded mouldings and hollow chamfer for a circular column (diam. 0.36m). The edge of the base has been broken in several places. The mason’s circumference guidelines are visible on the upper surface of the base.
