In the OPW store, Kilkenny (Kilkenny depot stone carving number: KD003). Decorated sandstone boss (diam. 0.18m) with rib vaulting (overall dimensions of stone L 0.44m; max. H 0.24m). Floriated decoration in raised relief, appears to be carved with acorns and oak leaves. On one side the ribs are broken off. Stylistically this dates to the 13th century.
