What is recorded here
In the OPW store, Kilkenny (Kilkenny depot stone carving number: KD014). A label stop (Wth 0.17m; H 0.16m; D 0.1m) consisting of a carved head with foliage. The head is of a woman wearing a simple head band with a barbette (chin band). There is some slight spalling around the nose area of the face. Stylistically this dates to the 13th century.
