Knockbarron holds a sandstone voussoir from a Romanesque doorway, its chevron still sharp despite years on the ground. It lies inside a stone barrel-vaulted chamber at the west end of a twelfth-century church, perhaps dropped when the arch changed or failed. The fragment stops being waste because it preserves the shape of an entrance no longer standing whole.

Architectural fragment consisting of a sandstone voussoir of a Romanesque doorway decrorated with a chevron carved in false relief. This fragment is now lying on the ground inside the stone barrel-vaulted chamber that has been built into the W end of the twelfth century church (OF036-028001-).
