Kilvoydan Church lost its building but kept one window jambstone, now set beside a cross above Lough Atedaun. The stone is small enough to lift, yet it preserves a shutter rebate, a glazing bar hole and a notched chamfer, details that suggest a room bright enough to need fitting glass. It may have fallen from the church, lain buried in the graveyard and waited until 1999 for someone to pull it from the dark.

Situated adjacent to a cross (CL017-119004-) in gently SE-sloping pasture overlooking Lough Atedaun to the SE and adjacent to a large ecclesiastical enclosure (CL017-119001-) which lies just to the W. This architectural fragment (H 0.4m; L 0.3m; Wth 0.24m) is a window jambstone with a rebate for a shutter, a bar-hole for a glazing bar and an outer chamfer with a notch. In 1999, the stone was found in the graveyard (CL017-119003-) c. 18m to the W, when it was located c. 15m inside the graveyard gate. It was subsequently moved beside the cross (CL017-119004-) (Large 2011). This is one of several architectural fragments identified in the graveyard since the early 19th century (see CL017-119003-), and probably robbed out from ‘Kilvoydan Church’ (CL017-119002-) there, which is no longer extant.
