What is recorded here
Fánta Castle in County Clare, Ireland, lost most of its structure but surrendered one windowsill. The stone reappeared inside a roofless outhouse beside a cottage, fitted into a drystone wall as though remembering the shape of a room that no longer exists.
Incorporated into the drystone wall of a small roofless outhouse, immediately to the SW of a cottage at the site of Fánta Castle (CL009-085002-), this stone windowsill may be from the castle.
