What is recorded here
Crusheen parish church released the stoup during renovations in 1994 after it had been hidden inside a wall. It now stands in the restored tower house at Dysert O'Dea, where a notice gives it back the fact of its recovery. The fragment has moved from one Clare building to another, but it still belongs to the moment when the church wall opened and gave it back.
