Architectural fragment in Cappagh (burren By.)

Cappagh, Ireland. Two ogee-loop heads and a loop sillstone are buried in the wall of a small shed beside a farmhouse, perhaps rescued from a demolished chamber or perhaps never finished for a grander door. The stones resist forgetting even when the building that owned them vanished. A person may have carried them across the burren at dusk, fitting ancient curvature into a practical shelter while the true history faded behind them.
