Aodhán Ó Ríordáin entered the world on 22 July 1976 in Dublin, the soil that later shaped his public voice. He grew up in Malahide, where a tall boy faced bullying before he learned to teach and lead. That early hardship may have sharpened the compassion he later brought to schools and parliament.
