What is recorded here

Two stones break the rush-covered bog on a northern slope above Coulagh Bay, set five metres apart but pointing in conflicting directions. The larger northern stone faces southeast while the smaller southern stone faces northwest, creating a twisted dialogue rather than a single honest line. A third standing stone waits three metres further north, completing a cluster that defies easy explanation. They may have marked a boundary, a meeting place or a forgotten ritual, but their mismatched angles suggest human hands arranged them to confuse or challenge.

In rough rush-covered pasture on a N-facing slope overlooking Kilmackowen valley and Coulagh Bay. Two stones, with differing alignments, protrude above the surface of the bog and stand 5m apart. The NW stone (H 0.6m; 1.3m x 0.28m), roughly rectangular in plan and elevation, is aligned NW-SE. The SE stone (H 0.4m; 0.75m x 0.25m) is aligned SSE-NNW.
