Seven years after Conlon counted eight stones, the forest closed the gap and erased the circle. What remained was a semicircle twenty-two yards wide, five upright markers leaning through soil on the southern slopes of the Boggeragh Mountains. The trees did not bury the place in one season; they grew through the stones, filled the laneway and removed the shape from human sight.

In forestry, on southern slopes of Boggeragh Mountains. Conlon (1917, 157, no. 177) recorded partially ruined 'circle' between laneway to W and five-stone circle (CO049-007----) to E. Remains formed semicircle (diam. 22 yards) consisting of 8 stones (H 8ins-32ins), five of which remained standing (ibid.). Area reforested; site not located.
