Annagannihy holds a hidden stone circle beneath coniferous trees, where a standing stone and several prostrate stones waited for human eyes before forestry swallowed the field. O Nuallain recorded the group in 1984, yet the exact spot has vanished from memory and mapping. The stones may have marked a boundary, a burial place or a seasonal gathering point, but the young pines now hide the answer. What is known is that human hands arranged rock there, and the forest has taken back the meaning.

O Nualláin (1984a, 47) recorded standing stone (H c. 0.6m) and 'several prostrate stones not shown on the OS 6-inch map', c. 80m uphill from anomalous stone group (CO049-003001-). Area now under coniferous plantation. Exact location not known. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
