Alderman Thompson

Wreck

What is recorded here

The National Monuments Record of Wales records Alderman Thompson as Wreck from the Ôl-ganoloesol period. The saved point comes from the official national record. Inclusion does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
Alderman Thompson was a 19th-century British merchant vessel lost off the coast of Wales during a storm in 1846; the wreck occurred near the Lleyn Peninsula, and it is believed that all six crew members perished. The ship was carrying a cargo of coal, and its wreck is now a protected site recorded in the National Monuments Record of Wales.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
