Yvonne Tracy

Yvonne Tracy was born in Limerick, Ireland, on 27 February 1981, the start of a defence that would hold Arsenal and Ireland together for over a decade. She joined Arsenal Ladies in August 2000, worked in their laundry, and won the domestic treble in her first season. A cruel knee injury in 2006 stole a year of her life, but she returned with the spirit Noel King praised, scored a World Cup qualifier winner in Kazakhstan in 2009, and stayed until February 2014.
