Ystradowen, Castle Mound is a Medieval castle mound in the Vale of Glamorgan, Wales. Earth and memory still hold the shape of a place where power stood before it disappeared. The mound may have watched roads, herds or argument, while people came and went without warning. What is left is a ridge of patience, waiting for someone to imagine the life that built it.
