Y-Maes at 29-31 Castle Square was a shop and newspaper office during the Post Medieval period in Gwynedd, Wales. It stood where news and goods moved through the town, likely filling the square with argument, laughter and the smell of ink. The building still holds that much, even if no one remembers the exact voices inside.
