What is recorded here
Death arrived in Ballyvally before mercy did. The workhouse buried its failures beside the living fields, forcing hungry men to carry heavy coffins through red dust. That is the shape of the place: a temporary kitchen that became a permanent grave.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as Workhouse Burial Ground. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
