What is recorded here

Walled garden, c.1750, on a square plan with random rubble stone boundary wall to perimeter of site having cut-stone coping, and cut-granite quoins supporting timber double gates. Set back from road in grounds shared with Woodstock House.
Exhibiting a traditional construction in unrefined locally-sourced stone with dressed granite accents exhibiting good masonry a substantial walled garden enhances the setting value of the Woodstock House estate while serving as a reminder of the various ancillary services necessary to facilitate the operation of a mid eighteenth-century large-scale landholding.
