Castle Terrace in Winchburgh stands as a miners row, its stones shaped by hands that dug coal rather than built palaces. The street belongs to working people, not kings, and its ordinary brickwork carries more truth than marble monuments. Whoever walked it breathed coal dust and carried wage money home. The terrace still holds that life, waiting for someone to remember what labour built before pride erased it.
