This blue commemorative plaque records: William Watson A crew member and the only person from Stockport to perish on the ill-fated 'Titanic'. He grew up in a house on this site and was buried at sea on the 24th April 1912, aged 27 years. Recorded plaque organisation: Stockport Heritage Trust.
