William Henry Davies was a Welsh poet and writer known for his contemplative verse that often celebrated nature and questioned the hurried pace of modern life. His poem "Leisure," which includes the line "What is this life if, full of care, We have no time to stand and stare," has become particularly famous for its reflection on the value of pausing in our busy lives.
