What is recorded here
Within this enclosure are re-interred the remains of the persons formerly buried upon the southern side of this burial ground which were removed to this place consequent upon the widening of Bath Street 1906.
The widening of Bath Street in 1906 led to the relocation of burials from the southern side of the original burial ground to this site. This re-interment reflects changes in urban development and the impact of infrastructure expansion on historical burial practices in the early 20th century.
