Westray, Stancro

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Westray, Stancro as Cairn (prehistoric), Mound (prehistoric). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Neolithic cairn; dates to the early to middle Neolithic period (circa 3500–3000 BCE). It is part of a broader network of prehistoric monuments in the Orkney Islands, reflecting early communal burial and ritual practices.
